UV marking across metal and non-metal products

For businesses handling a mix of gift materials, evaluate UV marking on plastics, glass, stainless steel, wood and leather. A sample test confirms the finish on each material rather than assuming one setting suits every item.

Craft production questions

Which laser should I choose for personalized gifts?

Start with the exact material and desired finish. Fiber marking is a candidate for metal gifts; CO2 marking for suitable non-metal materials; UV marking for a wider mix of metal and non-metal items. Test your actual product before confirming the configuration.

Can UV marking be used beyond plastics?

Yes. Applications can include wood, leather, plastics, glass and stainless steel. The achievable contrast and finish depend on the material, coating, artwork and settings; send a sample for evaluation.

Can a marking machine cut my craft shapes?

Marking and profile cutting are different processes. For suitable acrylic or wood-based sheet components, discuss a CO2 cutting machine. CNC routing is another option for shaped wooden components and decorative machining.

Do cups, rings and curved items need accessories?

A rotary attachment or dedicated fixture may be needed, depending on the shape and marking area. We confirm compatibility and include the required options in the proposal; they are not assumed to be standard.

What should I send for a free sample test?

Send material composition, coating details, dimensions, artwork, the finish you want and expected production volume. We confirm test arrangements before selecting equipment. Sample shipping, if needed, is agreed separately.
